I like it a good deal, but i seem to be missing something. Is there anything you can actually do with the users&groups administration or is it just not implimented?
The ability to set a different "root" directory according to login/passes is what i'm looking for here, is that in the works? |

The users and groups functionality is already implemented... To manage the users and groups, use the "Users and Groups Management" in the Security Options. To configure which users/groups may access a given alias, right-click upon that alias and choose the "Choose Users and Groups" option.
The users and groups functionality is soley to make available certain aliases to only certain users. This does not include anything that could change what root folder would be visible to each user individually.
You could create an alias for each group and have those be the indexes, with the primary index showing simply the available indexes (aliases of each group).
There are likely available third party scripts (PHP and the like) that would provide a situation as that which you have described. |
