501 Not Implemented

Whenever I try to connect to my server from ANY other computer than my own (or even from my own throught an anonymous proxy), the server shows a "501 Not Implemented" error and on the other computer, it just says "Gateway Timeout" or "The server is taking too long to respond". I looked it up on Google and it says that it's something to do with the server not understanding the browser's request. Please help

now that sounds weird...

i don't think any setting could be doing that, but maybe if your index file is some php file which does something depending on the clients ip, could be that

or it could be some other software on the serving or client side which is messing up the connection or something...

sounds werid though..

try using the program somewhere else, on diff comps or something
