The AutoDro is a custom-machined experiment apparatus equipped with two fast cameras, electronically-controlled lighting, and just the right environment for your drosophila (fruit flies) to roam. Not only that, but it comes complete with a vibrating assembly ready to shake your flies wild. All electronic components are computer-controlled for integration into a modern experiment control system.
ReadySense is a software suite providing a modern experiment control system for the AutoDro. Features include timed experiment phases, computerised fly tracking, and CSV logging. An additional component, the Count Dropper, serves to detect and classify drosophila droppings based on colour.
